Oskar Olsson

My name is Oskar Olsson, and this is a space for me to showcase my Audio Engineering projects. I specialize in post-production of audio for film and graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor’s degree in Arts & Technology. Please feel free to use the navigation bar above to check out some of my work and thanks for stopping by!

On location for Magic Man, a collaboration with  the UNT Advanced Film Department.

Welcome!

My name is Oskar Olsson. I am a recently-graduated ATEC (Arts and Technology) student at the University of Texas at Dallas. Audio has always been a passion of mine--from gigging as a drummer in the Dallas area, to eight years of playing the upright bass in the McKinney Independent School District, to recording and editing my own soundscapes--so studying audio engineering was the natural course for me. I plan on graduating with a BA in ATEC and then pursuing graduate-level coursework while involving myself in the industry as much as possible.

I own and operate a mid-end home recording studio consisting of a control room and a live room, and do most of my work in Pro Tools, which I have been using for four years now. My recording equipment travels with me everywhere I go, as I am always looking for a new project.

As film is another passion of mine, there is nothing I enjoy more than being on set and helping in any way I can to help the vision of a director become a reality. After that, you'll find me in my studio, editing and mixing until both my peers and I are satisfied that a project is the best it can be.

Thank you for visiting my page and don't be a stranger!

Best,

-Oskar Olsson
